We are proud to offer a variety of art classes for adults, including: Watercolor Painting, Drawing, and Acrylic Painting! All classes are led by experienced art instructor, Lynn Morrison.
These fitness classes are for adults and mature adults looking to improve strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. Classes will include chair aerobics, strength training and breathing exercises.
ACTA provides year-round adult tennis leagues, tournaments, and social mixers at the Antelope Tennis Center, 7900 Falcon View Drive, 95843. This class is a basic total body, only “30 minute work-out”! It utilizes free weights and body weight, medicine balls, and core movements to music. It is excellent for those with very limited time perhaps due to work schedules, homework or family responsibilities.
Would you like to learn how to sew using a sewingmachine? This is the class! In this class we will make a reversible apron. We will cover how to read, layout and cut a pattern and we’ll cover how to use your sewing machine. We will sew the apron and if time allows, make a zippered bag. This is a fun class where you will learn how to decorate cakes for birthdays, parties or just every day! Lots of tips, tricks and recipes will be shared during the class. In four weeks, we will cover cake decorating basics. Participants will need to bring a cake and/or cupcakes and icing (recipes will be provided) for weeks 2-4.
