The Sunrise Recreation & Park District is a special district under the County of Sacramento servicing a population of 163,000+ in three communities (Antelope, City of Citrus Heights, and Foothill Farms). The District has a geographic area of 27 square miles and administers 42 parks, 3 community centers, 2 aquatic facilities, 5 licensed day cares, a nine-hole golf course, 1 historic home, 1 skate park and hundreds of programs for youth, adults, seniors, families and businesses.
